Occasionally Skin and Clothing layers may become corrupt and will not appear as they should on the viewer.  This issue is NOT a defect with the product, but a temporary bug that should be resolved by doing a simple texture rebake.

To rebake your avatars textures please try one or all of the following:

• Clear your cache under the Network tab in your preferences menu and relog.
• PC users:  Hold down CTRL + ALT + R, *OR* Mac users:  Hold down CMD + OPT + R

If neither of these options corrects the texture, remove the texture for 24 – 48 hours, because it is only a temporary bug and the issue should resolve itself.  Please remember this is not a defect with the product.
